Informational Product- Journalistic Review

For the first assignment in Creative Information Design it was required that we take a post card and change the information provided to suite another type of media outlet. I did a journalistic review which took the post card publicising and event for next month and turned it into something which had already taken place changing the dynamic of the event.....

Creativity and innovative intelligence was abundant at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre. ‘Semi Permanent’ an established name synonymous with fascinating design hosted a lavish function not only to accommodate the melange of creative talent but to also celebrate the decade of ‘Semi Permanents’ role in Australian design “Semi Permanent, Australians most inspirational and affordable, creative conference” and with this statement I can completely and utterly conquer.
Due to the support of a variety of well known sponsors such as ‘HTC’ Semi Permanent is hosted the well known editors at Wallpaper Magazine including; The monkeys, Luca Ionescu, David Alan Harvey Mothership, and the list goes on. The day was of immense enjoyment and sheer amazement for the speakers as they elaborated on the various factors which influence and inspire their works.
Due to the tickets being reasonably priced the event gave way to a full audience with anticipation written all over their faces. This enthusiasm was emulated by the speakers who assisted greatly to aspiring designers and artists. This left the audience bedazzled and very content as imperative information was gathered and notebooks were overflowing with dictations.
Semi Permanent can be commended for their over achieving goal to create a successful conference as their decade in Australian design and art is still proving to be as strong and arguably more influential than in previous years.
